On the 7th day of Christmas...

On the 7th day of Christmas ...{I present you}... day 7

...{a CNY love}...

The Everson Museum of Art. We stop into the Everson when we’re looking for an artistic adventure right in our own backyard.  We've seen everything from paintings by zoo animals to masterpieces Vincent van Gogh.  The Everson adds that bit of excitement to a chilly winter day or the creative spark to reignite your imagination.

...{one of my most prized creations}...

I love to garden and I get disappointed by gray winter days that are wound together to form a beautiful season of dreary.  To help spruce up our home I created a few very inexpensive terrariums.  The moss for this little beauty lives inside a glass jar with an adorable cork top.  I gently rescued the moss from the North side of our home.  To add some dimension I used a strong adhesive to glue a wine glass into the center of the large glass jar.  The entire project took a matter of minutes and cost me less than $5.00.
Glass jar with cork top $3.00 (craft store)
Wine glass … $0.50(Salvation Army)
Super strong glue (my husbands work bench)

...{a piece of beautiful inspiration}...

This one got to me after just having a few hours of feeling down. I'll work harder to embrace every new day!  May we all be so privileged.

  1. Love the message (we should always be thankful for anytime we have) and the moss terrarium!
